The Calgary Food Bank provides an overwhelming 36% of the emergency food hampers to children under 18 years old. These efforts are derived from the Calgary Food Bank’s short-term goal, to relieve food insecurity; and long-term goal, to create a hunger-free community.

Friday Sock Co. was started in 2015 with the concept of having fun, mismatched matching socks. They almost instantly up-leveled by basing their foundation on innovation and eco friendly manufacturing. All Friday socks are ethically made in Italy using OEKOTEX® Cotton and GOTS® Organic Cotton. They work closely with the makers and visit their factory partners, a third generation family-owned factory in Italy, every January. All designs are created from original artwork by Friday's in-house design team located in Calgary, AB Canada and all of their socks mismatch, intentionally.
